1-3 Week Locum Opportunity in a FHO/FHT Group Practice

A family physician who is part of a 7-physician group practice on the West Hamilton Mountain is looking to secure locum coverage for her practice. This locum opportunity may be a good fit if you are looking to support the practice for one of the following options:
Option 1: 1 week coverage, July 27-31, 2026
Option 2: 3 weeks of coverage, July 20-August 7, 2026
Option 3: 3 weeks of coverage, July 27-August 14, 2026
During the 1-3 weeks of coverage, the locum can expect to work 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), seeing 18-22 patients per day between the hours of 9:00-5:00PM. Should the candidate be interested, nursing home rounds are an option for Tuesday mornings.
As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team, the practice receives support from many allied health care professionals including a full-time RN, a pharmacist, mental health counsellor and a registered dietitian. The practice is also supported by experienced administrative staff who handle all office management, reception, booking and billing duties.
The practice is conveniently located just minutes away from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and Hwy 403 in a location that offers free parking and 2 exam rooms for each physician plus a private office/charting area and a room for nursing staff.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive daily stipend as well as 3rd party billings.
