Position Overview
We are currently seeking a committed and patient-focused Attending Physician to join our newly established clinic in Downtown Toronto. The successful candidate will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of Family Physicians and Nursing staff to deliver comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population. This role offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to community health while practicing in a supportive and modern clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans
- Provide ongoing management of chronic diseases and coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
- Deliver preventive care services, including health screenings, immunizations, and patient education
- Maintain thorough and accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience practicing in hospital and/or community clinical settings
- Strong understanding of primary care principles and best practices
- Demonstrated compassion, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in medication management and clinical decision-making
- Excellent communication and patient engagement abilities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (Accuro experience is an asset)
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-based care model
