2-week Locum Opportunity in a FHO/FHT Group Practice

Posting #50-26-020

A physician with a practice in East Hamilton is looking for a locum to cover the family practice for two weeks, from October 12-23, 2026, 4.5 days per week, on site full days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (9-5pm), and half days Wednesdays (9-1pm). Coverage will also require inbox management during this same time.

Workload includes 20 patient encounters per full day, including in person and telephone calls only seeing prebooked appointments of registered patients, no walk-ins.

Patient records are managed through Avaros EMR, training available should it be required. Support from practice nurse, medical secretary, reception cover. Billing done by dedicated staff. The practice is part of the Hamilton Family Health Team and receives also support from many Allied health care professionals, including a clinical pharmacist, a registered dietitian, a respiratory therapist and a mental health counsellor.
