The primary practice site will be the Royal Alexandra Hospital (RAH), with privileging across the Edmonton Zone.

Candidates are expected to participate in all aspects of the academic and clinical mission of the Division of Orthopaedic Surgery including: collaborating with a multidisciplinary health care team, involvement in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, contribute to basic and/or clinical research and participate in administrative activities with re-evaluation every two years.  

***-***-**** (🔒 Premium)" paraeid="{e11e00ff-e30e-41e6-b5c0-ff53e4e54c9e}{83}">Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent and a Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent, and must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Alberta.  The successful candidate must have successfully completed advanced fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction.. An advanced research degree such as a Master’s or PhD would be an asset. The successful candidate will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague appointment in the Department of Surgery, University of Alberta, which will be considered a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry.
