Job Description:

Millennium MD Centre Clinic is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician/General Practitioner to join our growing team in Sherwood Park . The successful candidate will establish and maintain a full-time, community-based medical practice serving patients within the clinic and in affiliated long-term care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a full-time family practice within the Sherwood Park community.

• Provide community clinic and long-term care coverage.

• Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and order or interpret diagnostic tests to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Prescribe and administer treatment for acute and chronic conditions.

• Advise and counsel patients and families on primary health care, disease prevention, and wellness.

• Act as a patient advocate within the health care system.

• Provide counselling and treatment for patients dealing with addictions.

• Coordinate and manage primary care for assigned patients, ensuring continuity and comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

• Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA. 
• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent.
