Role Overview

Provide continued, specialized care to patients with skin-related concerns. The Dermatologist’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate treatments for optimal results
• Submit consultation notes to the referring family physicians for new patients
• Provide follow-up care for existing patients and/or refer them to an internal general practitioner for continued care
• Support the nursing team in delivering effective patient care through coaching
• Participate in training and education opportunities
• Adhere to company policies and protocol

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with specialist training in Dermatology
• General practitioner with specialized training and advanced education in dermatology
• Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Dermatology
• Physicians with training and certification from a CPSO approved jurisdiction may also be considered
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Prior experience in the cosmetic and aesthetic medicine industry an asset, but not required
• US Board Certified Physician are eligible for independent license in Ontario
• Newer graduates welcome to apply
