The internal medicine program is represented by specialists in respirology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, endocrinology, oncology, nephrology, hematology and a closed ICU. There is full support by all surgical specialties with the exception of cardiac and neurosurgery. Additionally, there is diagnostic imaging support which includes state-of-the-art 1.5 Tesla MRI and two CT Scanners with access to interventional DI. The hospital supports a full-time pulmonary function lab, endoscopy unit, non-interventional cath lab, nuclear medicine and ultrasonography. At Sault Area Hospital we are always looking for locum assistance in most specialties as we accommodate approximately 40 locum physicians each month. Funded through the HFO program you will receive lucrative compensation, reimbursement for expenses and travel remuneration. We do our best to ensure a smooth transition to SAH by assisting in hotel and car reservations as well as consistent and frequent communication, answering any questions you may have.

Teaching Opportunity
