While quickly gaining renown as "The Birthplace of Hockey", Windsor is also home to historic Fort Edward, the original Sam Slick Days festival, now known as the annual Windsor~West Hants Summer Fest, Howard Dill's Giant Pumpkins, and the internationally-recognized Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia.
