The Saskatchewan Health Authority, Swift Current is looking for an Locum General Surgeon to provide in-patient hospital responsibilities, emergency on-call coverage, and urgent/emergent endoscopy services for the following dates:• 0800 Oct 15th to 0800 Oct 26, 2026• 0800 Nov 19th to 0800 Nov 23, 2026• 0800 Dec 8th to 0800 Dec 21, 2026 Daily Rate: $2,358.68 per 24-hour dayEmergency Call: In addition to daily rates- Specialist Emergency Coverage Program (SECP) stipend as per the program termsAccommodations: Provided if requiredMileage: $0.5499/km for 1 return trip per locum assignment.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates will hold certification or be eligible for certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery. Individuals must be eligible for licensure from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. In accordance with immigration requirements, preference will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
