We are looking for someone to join our FHO in Orangeville Ontario. New graduates and experienced physicians welcome!
We have a well supported clinic set-up; but you can get that in many places. Let me tell you why I joined this clinic 5 years ago and you can see if it might be right for you too:
- Clinic set-up - Very well-supported through our Family Health Team with lots of allied health support in the building, 9 FHO docs collegiality and even friendship, fair cost sharing agreement, bright clinic space with windows.
- Specialist support in town - Internal Medicine, Cardiology, General Surgery, Nephrology, ENT, Ortho, Urology, Paediatrics, Plastic Surgery, Dermatology. Everything else close by in Brampton.
- Perfect for raising a family - Excellent mix of public/private/French schools, loads of sports/extra curricular facilities, beautiful parks, friendly people, safe, sense of community with city wide events for every occasion
- Location - Orangeville is just over an hour north of Toronto and just over an hour south of Blue Mountain. You can easily travel to Toronto for weekends/events/socials etc, without the day-to-day commute in Toronto traffic. It is also 45 mins from Toronto Pearson Airport so easy to organize holidays and pick up family friends when they come to visit. Return of Service eligible.
- Proximity to outdoor fun - Orangeville is on the Bruce Trail and many other trails nearby. <15min to ski slopes (downhill and cross-country), biking, kayaking/canoeing
- Cost of living - cheaper than Toronto!
