The department of Medical Imaging at Peterborough Regional Health Centre is currently recruiting a general Radiologist for a full-time permanent position. The ideal candidate must hold a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and be licensed in the province of Ontario. The successful applicant will be joining a group of 14 Radiologists, and practice in a friendly, collegial facility, with state of the art equipment. The successful candidate is expected to be proficient in all major modalities, including fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI. In addition to services at PRHC, we provide services for Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay, and Campbellford Memorial Hospital, as well as satellite coverage of Minden and Haliburton hospitals.

Position Qualifications:

· Currently registered with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario

· Fellow Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with a current Ontario license for Diagnostic Imaging

· Strong clinical training and experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology Knowledge of IR Oncology an asset

· Experience in all major modalities, including fluoroscopy, US, CT, and MRI

· Demonstrated analytical ability

· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, directors, managers and the community as required

· Actively encourage a spirit of co-operation amongst team members

· Eligible for active staff privileges at Peterborough Regional Health Centre Participate in on-call roster

· Evidence of ongoing continued medical education
