Job Description

The community of New Waterford is seeking a full scope family physician to join their family practice network team in the New Waterford Collaborative Practice.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness
• Work with other providers in the clinic to provide cross coverage and same day access
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities
• Utilize an electronic medical record (EMR) and record all relevant patient details in a provincially approved EMR which is accessible to all collaborating team members.

Expected Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• 46 out of 52 weeks per year. 

Remuneration

• $375,000 - $400,000 
• Remuneration type is either Longitudinal Family Medicine payment model

• All applicants must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
• All applicants must be eligible for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)
• Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
