Located in a newly developed residential area with limited access to nearby family physicians, the clinic continues to experience strong demand for primary care services.Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician to join our established team.

This is a unique opportunity to replace a departing physician and take over an existing practice providing the incoming physician with an established patient panel from the beginning. In addition, the clinic has a substantial and growing waitlist of patients actively seeking a family doctor, offering the opportunity to expand the practice quickly based on the physician’s preferred capacity.

The ideal candidate will be committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care to patients of all ages and will enjoy working within a supportive, collaborative clinic environment.Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services, including preventive care and the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic medical conditions.

Assume care of an established patient roster

Accept additional patients from the clinic’s existing waitlist based on the physician’s preferred practice size and availability.

Establish and maintain strong physician-patient relationships based on trust, respect, and empathy.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support coordinated and integrated patient care.

Use the clinic’s electronic medical record system for efficient clinical documentation and communication.

Participate in quality-improvement initiatives and continuing medical education activities.

Participate in rotating after-hours or same-day clinic coverage, where applicable, to support patient access and provide additional income opportunities.

Qualifications

Licensed to practise medicine in Ontario and in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
