Job Description
Covenant Family Health in partnership with Primary Care Alberta and the Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta, invites applications for Family Medicine physicians to be based primarily at the Lakewood Family Health Clinic in Edmonton, Alberta.

The successful applicants will be expected to apply for a Clinical Faculty Appointment in the Department of Family Medicine, University of Alberta, which will be considered under a separate process through the FoMD.
Start date and FTE are negotiable and will be discussed during the interview process. The clinic is scheduled to open in February 2026, with staggered start dates for successful candidates.
Required:
· MD or equivalent.
· Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
· Certification with the College of Family Physicians.
· Expertise and commitment to quality care and patient safety.
· Demonstrated commitment to Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) in the healthcare environment.
· Understanding of Just Culture and its role in healthcare.
Required:
· MD or equivalent.
