Verismo Health Inc. is seeking a dedicated Family Physician to join the 125 Keil Drive Medical Clinic in Chatham-Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed family doctor to serve a community with significant patient demand — patients are actively on the waitlist, with 300+ added in just two weeks. The Chatham-Kent community needs a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered primary care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, physical examinations, and develop individualized care plans
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and investigations
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with evidence-based guidelines
• Provide preventive care services including immunizations, health screenings, and patient education
• Collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from a recognized institution
• Current registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP) or equivalent
• Valid OHIP billing number or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered approach to care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine and continuous professional development
