The community of Oxbow, located in South East network 9 is looking a family physician to provide services in the Galloway Health Centre and the Oxbow Family Medicine Clinic. Oxbow is located in the beautiful Souris Valley and on the Bakken Play, one of the richest oil finds in our history. Oxbow is thriving with a new school, excellent medical care and an abundance of recreational opportunities.
The Galloway Health Centre is an integrated facility with 10 multipurpose beds and 12 long term care beds. A comprehensive range of services are provided in Oxbow which include: 24 hour ambulance, home care, outpatient services, community health services, and lab/x-ray services.
In addition to clinic duties, physicians are required to provide emergency room on-call coverage and care for the inpatients and residents of the Galloway Health Centre. The call rotation is currently 1:3.

Qualifications:
Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of CanadaRegular or provisional license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed)Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification requiredRecommended - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Valid driver’s licenseSuccessful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sectorCurrent Canadian Medical Protective Association coverageLegal entitlement to work in Canada
