This is a fantastic opportunity for a physician to join Georgian Bay Practice Associates Corp (GBPA) and the Owen Sound Family Health Organization. Our team includes six family doctors serving a rural community just 2 hours north of Toronto’s Pearson International Airport. We aim to expand our patient base and welcome new patients into our primary care services. GBPA works with a full team of Allied Health professionals including social workers, dieticians, pharmacists, nurse practitioners, occupational therapist, respiratory therapist, and nurses.

Our modern clinic sits lakeside in Owen Sound, offering diagnostic imaging, a pharmacy and dental services. Owen Sound, known as the Scenic City, is in the heart of Grey County, sheltered by the Niagara Escarpment. This vibrant and green city boasts cultural attractions, year-round outdoor adventures, an active music and arts scene, fantastic restaurants and excellent sports and recreation facilities.

The clinic is well equipped and features a procedural room. In addition to office-based practice, there may be opportunities available in Brightshores Health System obstetrics, inpatient care, surgical assisting, emergency medicine, and palliative care. Teaching positions may also be pursued. Both part-time and full-time roles are offered with flexible scheduling. Physicians have the option to manage a small patient roster or expand their practices, as there is significant local demand for primary care providers. Overhead costs are highly competitive, ranging from 15% to 20% of gross revenue depending on roster size.
