Job Summary
NL Health Services – Urban Zone is inviting applications from Thoracic Surgeons to join the Thoracic Surgery Division within the Surgical Services Program in a locum capacity based in the greater St. John’s metro region.
This position is available immediately, with the possibility of extension and potential transition to a full-time role for the right candidate.
The successful candidate will be expected to participate in the on-call schedule. Compensation will be provided through an Alternate Payment Plan (APP).
Required Qualifications
•Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
•Certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery or Cardiac Surgery (or equivalent) with subspecialty training in Thoracic Surgery
•Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (CPSNL)
•Must meet NL Health Services credentialing requirements, including:
