We are recruiting a full-time OBGYN to join our team at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH). We are a group of four generalists, attending approximately 700 deliveries each year.

STEGH is a level 2A hospital with full pediatric and anesthesia support. We also provide consultative services to midwives. Interested physicians could start as a locum, with the option to transition to a permanent position. 

The position is available immediately, and offers:

- Ample OR time (2 days per month)

- Newly built operating rooms (2018), with access to laparoscopy and hysteroscopy

- Home call, one week day and one weekend a month

- Access to Ambulatory Care for minor procedures, such as LEEPs

- Opportunity to teach and mentor residents and medical students through Schulich School of  Medicine & Dentistry at Western University

The ideal candidate is:

- FRCSC certified

- Registered with CPSO

- Canadian Citizen/Permanent resident

- Interested in minimally invasive gynecology or urogynecology (considered an asset)
