Description:
The Division of Geriatric Medicine within the Department of Medicine at the University of Calgary and Specialized Geriatric Services, Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applications for a position as Clinical Geriatrician. Qualifications required include a MD, subspeciality training in Geriatric Medicine, certification in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine and eligibility for regular licensure in the Province of Alberta. The successful candidate will be involved a variety of clinical work, including work on the Geriatric Acute Care Consult Team at various sites and Seniors Health Clinic. There is an expectation that the candidate will provide workplace-based education and is encouraged to participate in educational opportunities within the Division of Geriatric Medicine, the Department of Medicine, and the Cumming School of Medicine. Renumeration through a clinical ARP or fee for service.
