Job Description
We are seeking an Ontario based Staff Gynecologist to join our family medicine clinic. You will work alongside our primary care team to provide on-site gynecological care. This role offers an immediate internal patient referral stream while helping reduce specialist wait times in our community. It is an ideal fit for a physician currently living and registered to practice in Ontario.
Responsibilities
Patient Assessment and Diagnosis
- Perform gynaecological evaluations and diagnostic assessments for clinic patients.
- Formulate clinical diagnoses based on medical history and patient examinations.
- Order or perform relevant diagnostic tests, imaging, or medical investigations to support patient care.
Treatment Planning and Care Management
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized gynecological treatment plans.
- Provide medical oversight, ongoing medication management, and specialized interventions.
- Deliver targeted clinical procedures or refer patients to appropriate specialized programs.
Shared Care and Support
- Complete clinical documentation and required medical reports in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
- Medical Degree: Graduation from an accredited medical school with an MD designation.
- Licensure: Current, active independent practice license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Certification: Fellowship designation or eligibility with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC).
- Locality: Already residing and legally authorized to practice medicine in Ontario, Canada.
- Insurance: Valid malpractice coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
