The Englehart and District Hospital is seeking hospitalist locums to join our team!
Hospitalist week available:
Monday Jan 25 to Friday Jan 29
Monday Apr 5 to Friday Apr 9
Monday Apr 12 to Friday Apr 16
Monday Apr 19 to Friday Apr 23
Join our amazing locum team providing primary care services in a rural community with a catchment area of approximately 8,000 residents. The Hospital is a 21-bed facility. In addition to a core staff of dedicated, caring professionals we have OT, Physiotherapy, Respiratory Therapy, a fully-functional Emergency department and Diagnostic Imaging department.
Hospitalist rotations from 0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday. No weekends. Daily census generally runs 10-15 in-patients, most of whom are ALC. In emergent situations the hospitalist will assist the emerg physician, although this is a rare occurrence.
Remuneration for hospitalist work is $6000 + 10% shadow billing.
We offer free accommodations in a shared 5-bedroom house and .44 per km round trip from your home. Car rentals and flights within Ontario are also covered.
