Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) is actively seeking Internal Medicine or Family physicians interested in a full-time or part-time Hospitalist position. Additionally, the Hospital is in search of NSLP eligible locums who hold an independent license to practice in Ontario.

The Hospitalist Service, which includes Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, delivers in-patient care as the Most-Responsible Physician (MRP) for adult medical in-patients. They also occasionally provide supportive medical care to Adult Mental Health in-patients. The team has full support of 24/7 specialist back-up.

What you can expect:

• MRP for 14-18 medical in-patients daily
• Approximately two on-call shifts per month (1600-2000hr) and two weekends
• Collegial team environment
• Regular participation in resident and medical student training
• Opportunities exist to combine work with community practice
• Competitive remuneration of daily stipend plus some FFS
• No overhead
• Eligible for $84,000+ recruitment incentives (terms apply)
