In this community you can practice GP Anesthesia 1-5 days a week, with 1:4 or 1:5 nights of call depending on the department size. We work in a stimulating environment ensuring we maintain our skills. We support General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dental procedures and visiting Orthopedic Surgeons, primarily focusing on knee and hip replacements. The community is currently recruiting a local Orthopedic Surgeon.

Experience would be an asset but we have the capacity to mentor new graduates. GP Anesthetists in Williams Lake can expect to have a highly collaborative and interactive medical setting as well as the opportunity to educate medical students and family practice residents.

Qualifications:
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (Desired); Anesthesia (Mandatory); Current College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC) License (Full); Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) (Mandatory); Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
