The locum will take place at Magenta Health’s Riverside clinic, located at 625 Queen Street East, Toronto. We will need coverage for approximately 20 hours per week; this includes patient care and ample time for paperwork. This can be spread over 3 - 4 days throughout the week depending on the locum's schedule, and the specific days/hours are flexible.

Some details:

· Magenta Health is a family medicine clinic built by family physicians like yourself. We’ve created an environment that emphasizes physician happiness, well-being, and work-life balance. To us, that means supporting physicians with people, technology, and spaces designed to let physicians focus on being an effective clinician, first and foremost.

· The clinic is staffed by 11 other friendly family physicians and great supportive staff. There is nursing and medical assistant support (they do immunizations, vitals, etc).

· The practice that you will be covering is a FHO practice of approximately 1200 well-managed patients. The patients are mostly young, healthy professionals aged 30 to 50 years old along with some healthy kids. All are very friendly, and none of them are on any chronic benzos or opiates.

· We have a highly customized electronic medical record system and most patient-physician communication is done through email.

· Compensation will be $600/half day, an hourly rate for after hours shifts (usually two 3 hour shifts per month), and all 3rd party and shadow billings

Magenta Health has two other locations: One further east on Queen Street in the Beaches and another one in the Midtown area. If you enjoy your locum experience, there may be opportunities for you to join our team on an ongoing basis at one of our three locations.
