Job Description
Family Physician Locum – Sharbot Lake, Ontario
The Sharbot Lake Family Health Team is seeking a family physician locum for the following dates:
• Fridays: August 7 – October 2, 2026
• October 5 – October 16, 2026 (preferred minimum commitment of 3 days per week preferred, with flexibility for full or partial coverage depending on availability)
Additional dates may also be available for physicians interested in extending coverage or supporting the clinic beyond these blocks.
We are located in beautiful cottage country Sharbot Lake, with access to lakes, trails, fishing, and a relaxed rural lifestyle.
Our team is well-established and highly supportive, including NPs, RNs, RPN, mental health services, a diabetic program, OT, and integrated community supports.
We are a designated Rurality Index for Ontario (RIO) community, which may qualify this position for locum funding supports.
