Description:

Clinically, this position will be primarily focused on servicing the Inpatient population at the FMC and SHC and peripherally at High River as well as the Urgent Care Centers at Airdrie, Cochrane and Okotoks, as a Diagnostic Neuro-Imaging Physician and Radiologist. This position will include evening coverage for EFW AHS sites and would include EFW overnight and weekend Neuro call.

Because this position is based out of the FMC and SHC primarily, there would be a heavy focus on teaching for both residents and fellows. The instruction would not only include view box teaching but also the leadership and organizational skills required to be a medical authority in a large busy DI Department.

As academic radiologists, we acknowledge and agree that research is important and that it is our intention to identify and participate in meaningful research. It is intended that this Neuro position should foster strategic relationships through collaborative educational and research endeavors.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. FRCPC (Diagnostic Radiology), and Radiology Fellowship Training.
• Must read, write and speak English.
