Career Opportunity in Ophthalmology
The Department of Surgery, Division of Ophthalmology is seeking a Full Time Associate with Glaucoma Subspecialty interest.
The Division of Ophthalmology in the Department of Surgery is a collaborative team of 11 Ophthalmologists who provide ophthalmic care in the Brampton/Etobicoke community. The selected ophthalmologist will provide emergent, urgent and acute care ophthalmology call coverage for Osler’s emergency department, urgent care centre and inpatient units including NICU coverage for ROP screening. The selected candidate will have access to available OR resources. Remuneration is fee-for-service as set by the OHIP Schedule of Benefits and Fees.
Qualifications
- Must have completed a surgical glaucoma fellowship
- Must have a certificate of registration for independent practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
- Must have a fellowship in Ophthalmology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
- The position requires excellent communication skills in English.
- Additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population.
