The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking Pediatrician locum coverage in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Responsibilities include 24 hour inpatient coverage and emergency on-call coverage at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre. As the only regional hospital in the southeast, Yorkton offers a diverse and rewarding opportunity allowing physicians to manage a broad range of cases while enjoying the benefits of a smaller community and avoiding the congestion of a large urban centre.The pediatric team works alongside a multidisciplinary network of supports, including pediatric therapies, autism spectrum disorder services, early childhood psychology, mental health, social work, dental services, and public health nursing. Strong partnerships with community programs such as KidsFirst and local schools provide truly integrated, family-centred care.

Certified or eligible to be certified with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in PediatricsRegular or provisional licence with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (or eligible to be licensed) Valid driver's licenceSuccessful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sectorCurrent Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage Legal entitlement to work in Canada.
