Job Description

Yarmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a full time pediatrician to join their team.

Responsibilities

• work as a full scope of practice pediatrician providing care to the patients within Western Zone
• participate in call shifts
• support Nova Scotia Health in advancing the delivery of pediatric care by liaising with the applicable staff within the zone and province
• offer consultation support to Western Zone, which includes day-time coverage and occasional overnight/weekend coverage
• be accountable to the patient population in Western Zone by providing clinics and occasional satellite clinics
• responsible to the Zone Pediatrics Department Head for their professional responsibilities and quality of practice
• operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health
