Christie Gardens is a home consisting of 400 residents whose needs span the continuum of retirement living – from independent, to assisted living, to our 24/hour care residents.

Christie Gardens is looking for a people-focused, patient, and professional Primary Care Physician to join our Health & Wellness team. This individual has a keen interest in geriatrics and thrives in an environment that is collaborative and team based. The ideal availability for this candidate would entail one day per week with flexibility to work extra days if needed. 

We have a well-established Wellness Centre with a team of excellent clinical and administrative personnel, which makes primary care and select specialty health services available to all residents. This role is supported by the Director of Health & Wellness, the Nursing Team, and Assisted Living & Nursing Home admins.

Qualifications:

• Academically trained and interested in practicing evidence-based medicine
• Eager to set a new standard in primary care and advocate for elders’ independence
• Open to constantly improving care processes
• Interested in spending more time with patients, not paperwork. We provide administrative support.

Salary: Compensation per diem, negotiable

Job Type: Contract - 1 clinic day per week, flexibility for more
