Job Description

Application Deadline: August 30, 2025

This Fellowship focuses on advanced clinical training in precision radiation therapy in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT). The Department of Radiology’s section of Radiation Oncology and CCMB Radiation Oncology Program reside in a state-of-the-art clinical outpatient and cancer research facility in Winnipeg on the Faculty of Health Science, College of Medicine’s University of Manitoba campus. CCMB has 7 Varian linear accelerators, high dose-rate and prostate brachytherapy suites, 2 simulators, an orthovoltage unit, and extensive use of IMRT, IGRT, and Rapid Arc-based treatment deliveries. We also have Gamma Knife Perfexion SRS, treating benign and malignant CNS diseases. Our department is well-equipped with ARIA and electronic medical records.

Opportunities for collaborative research projects in clinical outcomes, translational research, physics, and cancer epidemiology are available and would be tailored to the successful candidate's interests. In the past, Fellows have successfully completed and published research projects focusing on advanced techniques, including SRT/ SBRT, and gained from the available provincial data resources to complete patient-based projects.
