Urgent Locum Opportunity in a FHO/FHT Group Practice on Hamilton Mountain

A physician in a 3- member group practice is seeking a locum to support her practice with immediate coverage. The ideal candidate will be providing coverage for at least 2 days per week, starting as soon as possible. Flexible days/week as well as length of time.

With approximately 1,350 rostered and approximately 100 additional un-rostered patients the locum physician will be providing care to a balanced and diverse roster. The practice receives administrative support from an office assistant, 2 full-time receptionists, a bookkeeper/billings assistant, and a referral assistant. As part of the Hamilton Family Health Team the practice also receives support from a wide variety of Allied Health Care Professionals including a full-time RN as well as a dietitian, counsellor, clinical pharmacist and psychiatrist. 

The practice uses P & P EMR and includes 2 exam rooms (for each physician in the group) as well as an individual office/charting area, a reception area and waiting room and free parking for both staff and patients. The practice is also located in a well-equipped medical building which includes a physiotherapy clinic, pharmacy, x-ray, dental office, and hearing centre.
