With over 10,000 Canadians served and 80,000+ therapy sessions delivered, our mission is to expand access to mental health care in the Waterloo Region and beyond. We are now looking to bring on a passionate Virtual Psychiatrist to join our growing team.

Role Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Virtual Psychiatrist to work with our therapy clients who require psychiatric assessments and medication recommendations. This role also includes providing treatment plan recommendations to our team of therapists, supporting collaborative and client-centered care.

This is a flexible opportunity: you can choose to work part-time or full-time and set your own schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments for clients referred through our team.
• Provide evidence-based medication recommendations and mental health treatment planning.
• Collaborate with our therapists by advising on treatment plans and progress.
• Support clients in accessing care quickly and effectively through our JaneApp online booking system.
• Maintain appropriate clinical documentation within your own EMR system.
• Bill OHIP directly for client services.

Qualifications

• Licensed Psychiatrist in Ontario, in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Experience in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and medication management.
• Strong passion for accessible and community-focused mental health care.
• Comfort working in a collaborative, virtual environment.
