Pathologist must maintain the highest possible standards of practice including prompt delivery of services to match established key performance indicators and provincial metrics, must actively participate in quality assurance and quality improvement programs, and must actively participate in undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate medical teaching. The successful applicant is expected to become an active zonal consultant in their area(s) of expertise. In addition to a sub-specialty practice, participation in general surgical pathology practice is required. Fellowship training and/or expertise in Lymphoma, is our current need.

Subspecialty fellowship training in areas of Dermatopathology, Cytopathology, Gynecological pathology is considered an asset. The ability to contribute collegially to the group practice and laboratory operations will be an important factor in candidate selection.  International applicants meeting criteria for Alberta licensure are encouraged to apply (including J1 VISA holders), as this position is eligible for immigration sponsorship.
