$507,807.00 – $579,394.00 (contract). Competitive contract value plus an on‑call stipend through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program. Eligible for Pediatric Gastroenterology Recruitment and Retention Incentive of up to $200,000 and an additional $30,000 Priority Specialist Recruitment incentive.

Salary: $500,871.00 (contract). Call remuneration paid separately through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program (SECP). Relocation: $25,000 stipend (non-repayable upon fulfillment of 3-year return-of-service). $30,000 Specialist Grant through the Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA).

Eligible for the Rural Physician Incentive Program (RPIP) of up to $200,000; compensation per Primary Health Care contract.

Salary range $397,391 to $512,838 (plus benefits). Additional incentives and relocation packages available.

This position is fee for service only with a very competitive split

Fee for Service On Call Stipend - Physicians are remunerated for being on call. Multiple Alberta Medical Association (AMA) Compensation Programs, including the Rural Remote Northern Program (RRNP), which provides a variable fee premium for Barrhead of 6.46% for insured services provided in this community. The average gross income of a Pediatrician in Alberta is $304,381. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

We recently implemented a Tier 1 ARP and now we offer a competitive remuneration with an hourly rate of $220 - $240 which represents a significant increment from the previous iteration.

Clinical Service Contract; part-time temporary (0.5 FTE) for up to 9 months

Longitudinal Family Physician (LFP) Payment Model; emergency shifts compensated under Alternative Payments Subsidiary Agreement (APSA); eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) incentives — Retention Premium 15.54% and Retention Flat Fee $24,083.

Fee-for-service; eligible for rural retention and rural CME funding (CME funding: up to $1,800 for first 2 years; $4,800 in years 3–4; $7,800 after 4 years); eligible for rural fee premium (currently 14%); IHA recruitment bonus $20,000; relocation bonus $9,000 (in-province), $12,000 (out-of-province), $15,000 (out-of-country).

Alternative Payment Arrangement: population-based funding; locum rate same as LFP; final compensation discussed during interview and based on experience, qualifications, and coverage.
