Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is excited to invite applications for a Cardiologist with level III echocardiography training. If you have completed at least a one-year fellowship in adult echocardiography and have a strong foundation in general cardiology, we want to hear from you!

Diverse Role: Engage in all aspects of echocardiography, including diagnostic TTE, TEE, and stress echo (exercise, bike, and dobutamine).

Collaborative Team: Work alongside a team of 10 dedicated echocardiographers, 3 cardiac surgeons, 7 interventional cardiologists, and 4 electrophysiologists.

Comprehensive Coverage: Provide inpatient cardiology services and overnight general cardiology call.

High Volume Expertise: Gain experience with a high volume of echo, TEE, and stress echo procedures, and assist in reading TTEs for six peripheral hospitals.

Innovative Programs: Be part of our growing structural heart program (TAVI, ASD/PFO and LAA closure) and advanced cardiac surgery group. Look forward to future developments in Mitra-Clip program.

WRHN’s cardiac team delivers innovative, compassionate, and lifesaving care to more than 1.4 million residents across Waterloo Wellington and surrounding regions. Over the past five years, the program has grown significantly, including the expansion of structural heart services, a fully equipped electrophysiology lab, advanced PCI procedures, and a comprehensive cardiac surgery program.

The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and provide a minimum of three references.
