Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) is excited to invite applications for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist who has completed their cardiology residency in Canada and ideally has one additional year of fellowship training in imaging, heart failure or critical care.

A Diverse Role: Engage in hospital based clinics, acute inpatient cardiology with a dedicated CCU and additional ventilated level III beds in our MSICU. Participate in echo and other non-invasive cardiodiagnostics.

Collaborative Team: Work alongside a team of 10 dedicated echocardiographers, 3 cardiac surgeons, 7 interventional cardiologists, and 4 electrophysiologists.

Comprehensive Coverage: Provide inpatient cardiology services and overnight general cardiology call.

High Volume Expertise: Gain experience with a high volume of echo (TTE) across 8 hospital sites, growing heart function clinic and a highly rated cardiac rehab facility.

Innovative Programs: Be part of our growing structural heart program (TAVI, ASD/PFO and LAA closure). Look forward to future developments in Mitra-Clip.

WRHN’s cardiac team delivers innovative, compassionate, and lifesaving care to more than 1.4 million residents across Waterloo Wellington and surrounding regions. Over the past five years, the program has grown significantly, including the expansion of structural heart services, a fully equipped electrophysiology lab, advanced PCI procedures, and a comprehensive cardiac surgery program.

The successful candidate must hold or be eligible for independent licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and provide a minimum of three references.
