Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH) is looking for a General Cardiologist.

CMH is looking for a cardiologist with Level III Echocardiography training. Level II
Echocardiography level will be considered if the candidate has extensive experience and other
qualities desirable to CMH. Experience in leadership positions would be an asset. Depending on
qualifications, additional administrative responsibilities in various areas may be offered.
Competitive remuneration in administrative/clinical support will be available to the candidate
with appropriate background, expertise, and experience.

The Cambridge Memorial Hospital facilities include a Cardiac Respiratory Unit that provides
testing in 2D echocardiogram, stress echocardiography, exercise stress test, Holter monitoring,
as well as full pulmonary function testing. The Echocardiography Laboratory is accredited under
the Echocardiography Quality Improvement Program in Ontario. The applicant is expected to
assist in expanding the echocardiography program to increase stress echocardiography
capacity, and resume trans esophageal echocardiography. CMH also has a robust nuclear
medicine program providing full nuclear cardiology testing.

Applicants must be licensed with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have
an independent practice license or eligible for same. Certification or eligibility for certification in
Internal Medicine and Cardiology through the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons is also
required.

On call requirements will include coverage in cardiology only. However, interest in general
medicine/ICU coverage will be considered (but not required) with appropriate experience.

Cambridge Memorial Hospital is a 140 bed community hospital located in Southern Ontario. We

Radiation Oncology, Interventional Cardiology as well as Cardiac, Thoracic, Bariatric and
Vascular Surgery are available within the Waterloo Wellington Local Health Integrated Network.
