Job Description:
TotalCardiology is seeking a Cardiologist with advanced training in Cardiac Electrophysiology to join a high-volume, well-established outpatient general cardiology practice in the Calgary Zone.
This role is 100% outpatient-based and offers the opportunity to maintain a broad general cardiology practice while contributing to the development of enhanced outpatient electrophysiology (EP) and arrhythmia services.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within our established multidisciplinary environment to support timely assessment, investigation, and referral of patients with arrhythmia and autonomic cardiovascular disorders to AHS tertiary electrophysiology programs a appropriate.
Qualifications:
Cardiology FRCPC (or eligibility)
Advanced subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology
Experience in autonomic assessment and testing
Experience in the Alberta Health Care system. Demonstrated competence in outpatient general cardiology practice
Diagnostic testing experience: Stress tests, ECG, Holter
Eligibility for independent or provisional licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA)
Prior experience working within, or in coordination with, an AHS electrophysiology environment
