Job Description:

Pearl Specialist Clinic is hiring 3 community psychiatrists to join our team of psychiatry specialists providing compassionate, empathetic and evidenced based patient care. We are currently seeking applications for our growing community clinic in Calgary. The ideal candidates will provide excellent, collaborative and patient centred care in a collegial environment.

 
Qualifications:

• Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA

• Medical Degree (MD or equivalent degree)

• Completion of specialist training in Psychiatry

• Certification in Psychiatry (FRCPC or equivalent)

• Experience in inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatry

• Commitment to community-based practice and interdisciplinary teamwork

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR)

• Comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment

• Evidence-based psychiatric treatment

• Patient-centred, culturally sensitive care

• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• High ethical and professional standards

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Commitment to continuing medical education
