Priority Health Clinic is looking for a Psychiarist to join the Priority Health Clinic in Pickering! 

We are located in the newly developed (~50,000 sq ft) Jerry Coughlan Health and Wellness Centre and are affiliated with Lakeridge Health. There will be onsite imaging, laboratory, numerous specialists, physiotherapy and a new state-of-the-art Surgical Centre!

Over the last three years, Priority Health Clinic has been working closely with Lakeridge Health, the Ministry of Health, and other stakeholders to create a FHO with 8 doctors, as well as an Urgent Care Centre.

We are now looking to add a Psychiatrist to our team to provide consulting services. There is an ACTT clinic upstairs on the 4th floor of this building as well.

Details of the opportunity:

• Located in a high growth/needs area in Pickering
• Affiliation with the newly developed Department of Family and Community Medicine at Lakeridge Health
• Fully equipped turnkey space, access to large procedure rooms, easy access to numerous  specialists working in the building (top 3 floors of this building are specialists working under  Lakeridge Health, including the new surgical suite)
• Laboratory and Imaging on same floor, ability to review x-rays in real time via to PACS monitors connected with Ellesmere Radiology Associates  
• All receptionist and nursing staff support provided, billing completion with internal reviews for  optimization, monthly remittance statements
• The clinical operations team will help alleviate practice burnout by providing all the services and  technology you need to make your practice run smoothly, allowing you to focus on patient care
• Website, advertising and patient recruitment provided for Physicians
• EMR will be Telus CHR

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited institution
• FRCPC Certification or equivalent practical experience is an asset
• General license to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario 
• Membership in the Ontario Medical Association
• Membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association
