Description:

This position works collaboratively with Peter Lougheed Centre (PLC) Diagnostic Imaging (DI) Administration, Site Administration and Corridor DI 
Administration including the Calgary Corridor Clinical Department Lead. 
The PLC DI Medical Director is responsible patient care, teaching, research, staff development and administrative activities undertaken by all 
physicians working within PLC DI. 
The PLC DI Medical Director is required to assist and collaborate with the Corridor Clinical Department Lead as applicable in regard to site clinical operations. 
The position is responsible for clinical administration of DI at PLC including professional matters relating to patient care, education and research. 
The position is responsible for the supervision of physicians with privileges in DI including managing the schedule and coverage to ensure appropriate staffing resources are provided. 
This position is a full member of the Corridor DI Leadership Team (DILT) and works collaboratively with that team to implement Provincial and Corridor directives. 
This position is the clinical representative on all site committees as required and is required to ensure a leadership point of contact for all site-based enquiries.

Qualifications:

• The candidate must be eligible for Licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta. FRCPC (Diagnostic Radiology), and Radiology Fellowship Training.
• Must read, write and speak English.
