Job Description

NOCTURNIST (EMERGENCY MEDICINE) -  Bowmanville and Port Perry

Lakeridge Health is seeking Emergency Medicine trained physicians interested in working as a Nocturnist, flexible number of shifts per month available.

Bowmanville Night shift hours: 2300 – 0830

Port Perry Night shift hours: 2300 - 0800

Physicians enjoy flexible scheduling and extensive specialty and subspecialty consultation services. There is a dedicated ED education team providing ongoing quality Continuing Medical Education. Remuneration is based on an AFA.  

You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queen’s University, for those interested and qualified. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.

The candidate must hold FRCPC certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or CCFP(EM) certification in Emergency Medicine or significant experience appropriate to the ED and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Language of work: English. The position start date is negotiable.
