We are looking for EM Physicians to join an established group of emergency department physicians. As part of the Emergency Medicine team, you will be responsible for providing clinical medical services to individuals presenting to the emergency department, including trauma and pediatric care. Candidates will also have the opportunity to teach residents and medical students training in North Battleford under the University of Saskatchewan College of Medicine Distributed Medical Education program. The Battlefords Union Hospital is supported by multiple specialists including internal medicine, hospitalists, general surgeons and pediatricians.
The community is also recruiting for family medicine physicians and a combined practice would be an option for any interested candidate.

Qualifications:
Certified or eligible to be certified with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC)- Certification in Emergency Medicine (CFPC-EM/FRCPC/ABEM) is an asset but willing to mentor
Regular or Provisional License with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS) (or eligible to be licensed)Current certification (or willing to obtain) in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)Valid driver’s licenseSuccessful SHA credentialing including but not limited to acceptable reference checks and criminal record check with vulnerable sectorCurrent Canadian Medical Protective Association coverageLegal entitlement to work in Canada
