Busy rural ED with 20-25,000 visits annually. Located within easy driving distance from South-Central Ontario cities of Niagara, Hamilton/Halton, KW and London. Catchment area of 20,000 increases during summer months with seasonal residents and tourists.

Newly built (2019) 10 stretcher ED with updated equipment and facilities. 24 hour on-site lab and DI including CT scanner. 22 bed family doctor-managed in patient unit. We are a teaching site for McMaster Medical School and frequently host medical student and FM resident rotations.

Specialty and critical care within 45-60 minutes (Hamilton, Niagara). General surgeon on-site.

24 hour single coverage AFA with lucrative hourly rate and weekend/holiday premiums. 8 hours of overlap coverage daily, and Nurse Practitioner most weekday shifts. HOCC funded ED-backup rota. (Family docs cover the inpatient unit)

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to mentor and supervise new grads. ACLS, ATLS, PALS and advanced airway skills are essential.
