Job Description
Family Physician (MD)
Location: Circle Health – Toronto
Commencement Date: September 2026
Reports to: Chief Medical Officer / CEO
Circle Health is a membership-based primary care clinic in Toronto focused on prevention, continuity, and long-term health.
We provide comprehensive everyday care — from acute concerns to chronic disease management — while integrating biomarker-informed prevention and longitudinal planning into the model.
We’re looking for MDs who want to practice full-scope primary care with the time, tools, and structure to think beyond the single visit.
Let’s Practice Primary Care Differently.
Healthcare often asks patients to wait.
Wait until something’s wrong.
Wait for an appointment.
Wait for answers that never quite arrive.
Circle Health was built around a different idea:
the best time to care about your health is before you have to.
We’re building a membership-based primary care model where insight becomes action, prevention feels practical, and everyday health gets the attention it deserves.
We’re looking for MDs and NPs who want to practice comprehensive primary care — while helping patients think longer-term about their health.
Not as a trend.
Not as a niche.
Just as good medicine, done well.
What This Role Really Is
This is a patient-facing primary care role. You will build real, ongoing relationships.
You will practice the kind of medicine that doesn’t rush from problem to problem.
At Circle, we focus on:
- Continuous conversations, not one-off visits
- Clear next steps, not overwhelming information
- Prevention that fits into real life
- Follow-through that closes the loop
You’ll treat hypertension, thyroid disease, diabetes, URTIs, mental health concerns, pediatric issues, women’s and men’s health — the full scope of primary care — with space to think and time to act. We believe prevention isn’t separate from everyday care. It’s part of it.
How You’ll Practice Here
Circle is designed to support thoughtful medicine.
You’ll work alongside NPs, RNs, and integrated providers to deliver coordinated care.
You’ll:
- Interpret labs and diagnostics in context, using our integrative proprietary tech platform supporting you along the way
- Help patients understand what their results actually mean
- Translate data into clear, manageable next steps
- Track progress over time, not just at a single visit
- Close loops on follow-ups and referrals
We don’t weaponize data.
We use it to create clarity.
Certified Longevity Physicians (Training & Certification Provided)
You don’t need to arrive as a longevity expert.
Circle provides structured, evidence-based training in longevity-informed primary care. The focus is simple:
- Understanding risk earlier
- Using biomarkers responsibly
- Thinking in years, not weeks
- Supporting patients before small issues become big ones
As an MD/NP, you will:
- Receive Circle-sponsored certification and ongoing education in longevity medicine principles
- Be trained in:
- Biomarker-driven risk stratification and interpretation
- Prevention-first clinical frameworks
- Longitudinal care planning and optimization strategies
- Translating advanced diagnostics into practical, patient-centered actions
- Practice longevity medicine within a primary care scope, grounded in evidence, judgment, and continuity — not trend-driven protocols
This training is designed to:
- Create consistency and clinical rigor across the Circle care model
- Support confident, aligned decision-making across clinicians
- Enable scalable, high-quality longevity-informed care without relying on niche specialization
Circle invests in your clinical growth because the strength of our model depends on clinicians who are continuously learning, calibrated, and supported..
Technology That Works With You
Our platform is built to reduce friction — not add to it.
Patients have access to:
- A living health dashboard
- Clear summaries and next steps
- Coordinated messaging with the care team
- Smarter reminders that keep momentum going
Clinicians have:
- Custom, bespoke platform with full training provided
- Longitudinal views of patient data
- AI tools including AI scribe, smart recommendations and other insights to fuel your clinical support
- Structured lab tracking over time
- Integrated ordering and follow-up workflows
- Decision-support insights without losing clinical autonomy
Who Thrives at Circle
You’ll feel at home here if you:
- Value relationships over volume
- Want time to think about your patients’ health
- Communicate clearly and comfortably
- See prevention as part of everyday medicine
- Enjoy building something thoughtfully
Circle is a home to practice medicine with intention.
Qualifications
- MD (CPSO-licensed) in good standing
- 1–2+ years of independent clinical practice
- Comfort interpreting labs and diagnostics
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Interest in prevention-first care
Experience in membership models or preventative medicine is welcome — but not required.
Compensation & Perks
- Competitive base compensation
- Participation in OHIP billings tied to clinical activity
- Incentives aligned with continuity and member experience
- Structured longevity-informed training
- Paid time off, paid training, complimentary FIGs scrubs
