Seeking a 2 week locum in Minden ON

Haliburton County offers gorgeous scenery, lakes at every turn, quaint villages and art studios, small town warmth, stunning look-outs and lots of fresh, clean air! 10% of our county is located within the borders of Algonquin Park and we have over 500 lakes. Why not take a break and work where it's truly feasible to see patients and then head to the river/lake for fishing/kayaking or hiking along the Minden White Water Preserve with the family the rest of the day? 

We are a group of 11 physicians practicing family medicine in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands and Minden area. We are also affiliated, and work collaboratively with the Haliburton Highlands Family Health Team.

The practice size of this particular office is approximately 1200 patients.

Clinic is open 4.5 days/week

This is a satellite office with one physician located in Minden which operates as part of a 11 physician FHO located in Haliburton.

Compensation is approximately $1060/day.

The successful Family Physician will be a contracted physician with the Haliburton Highlands FHO and will provide comprehensive primary care to enrolled patients of the FHO, as well as affiliated, unaffiliated and visitor patients. The Family Physician will work closely with other physicians, nurse practitioners, RNs, Dietician, Social Workers and Chiropodist to ensure the patient receives the right care from the right professional at the right time.
