ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services – Central Zone invites applications for a permanent full-time Family Medicine Physician at Green Bay Health Centre in Springdale, NL.
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients and families in Springdale and the surrounding Green Bay region. The position includes a broad scope of practice encompassing ambulatory care, walk-in clinics, inpatient coverage, emergency care, and after-hours call shared equitably among the physician group.
Green Bay Health Centre serves the Springdale community and surrounding area, offering a range of primary and secondary health services to the residents of the Green Bay region in central Newfoundland.
NL Health Services is affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador, and academic interests are encouraged and supported.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Medical Degree (MD) from a recognized institution
- Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification in Family Medicine (or equivalent)
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador (www.cpsnl.ca)
- Must satisfy credentialing requirements of NL Health Services including a satisfactory criminal record check and vulnerable sector check

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive primary care including ambulatory clinics, walk-in clinics, and inpatient coverage
- Provide chronic disease management, palliative care, prenatal care, and emergency care and patient stabilization
- Participate in after-hours and on-call coverage shared equitably among the physician group
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals
- Support person- and family-centered care; promote patient and worker safety by integrating safety into work practices, identifying risks, and implementing improvements

REMUNERATION
Remuneration is Fee-For-Service in accordance with the Medical Care Plan (MCP) Payment Schedule.
Available Incentives: Candidates may be eligible for recruitment and retention incentives, subject to applicable terms, conditions, and program availability at the time of offer.
