ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
NL Health Services – Central Zone is seeking Locum Family Medicine Physicians to provide coverage across three community health centres in central Newfoundland:
- Baie Verte Peninsula Health Centre, Baie Verte, NL

These positions offer an excellent opportunity to practice full-scope family medicine in welcoming rural communities while contributing to high-quality patient care across the Central Zone. Assignments will vary by site and operational need — candidates may be placed at one or more locations depending on availability and service requirements.
Work Environment
Central Zone encompasses some of Newfoundland's most scenic and diverse communities — from the rugged coastlines of the Baie Verte Peninsula and the sheltered harbours of the Connaigre Peninsula, to the rolling landscapes of the Kittiwake Coast near Brookfield. Each community offers a safe, welcoming environment and access to outstanding outdoor recreation in one of Canada's most naturally stunning regions.
